This movie stems from 1957 and is a black and white movie. Unless the age and absence of special effects or what so ever this thriller keeps you in suspense the whole time even although you can guess the outcome of the jury conference.
The boundary of this movies is the room of a jury that have to decide if an young boy is guilty for killing his father. The jury consists of 12 men of which number 8 (Henry Fonda) was the only one who had doubts about the guilt of the boy. The remainder of the jury is absolutely sure that the boy is the one who killed his father.
The eleven other jury members firstly are annoyed by the attitude of number 8. They thought it was clear and had planned things for the rest of the day. As the movie continues all the facts of evidence are went through more jury members choose the side of number 8. Some proof of evidence is refuted by reconstructing some events.
When you like dialogues and the process an American jury goes through this movie is absolutely a tip. Because of the clue of the movie is already clear when the movie starts I give the movie 7 out of 10 stars.
